...one year of (almost) daily dose of nerdy stuff!

Unbelievable, but this little project turned one year old yesterday! 🥳 

Let’s celebrate! 🎊 

To mark the occasion, I’m sharing some insights - and a few surprises!

💡 Why this newsletter?

I started the Nerdletter out of pure curiosity. 

• First, I wanted to experiment with a daily, atomic newsletter format. 
• But more importantly, I wanted to highlight great work by great people. All that nerdy stuff out there, happening every day, but often flying under the radar. 
• Social media today is filled with hate, fake news, heated arguments, and nonsense. This Nerdletter is my personal contribution against all that crap. 
• And why a newsletter? Honestly: As a reaction to Elon Musk ruining Twitter. 😤

📊 We love stats!

• 1 supporter on Ko-Fi (Thank you, Leobard! 🙌) 
• 1 giveaway so far (It was a blast! Thank you ?BREAK ERROR) 
• First post: Blind Run – followed up by this second post 9 Ways to actually get gamedev done in time -> That already clearly defined the vectors of the content direction! 🚀

• No real data on RSS and online readership (But I know you’re out there! 😄) 
• 80 subscribers. Grow is slow, but steady. 80 subscribers is a lot and a little. My biggest surprise is, that the unsubscribe-rate is very low - which is a thing, if you receive e-mails so often from me! 😄 Also the open and click-through rates make me very happy.
